Irish Crochet Jewelry

I have vintage Irish Crochet patterns I have modified into wearable jewelry art pieces. Each is unique and hand crocheted by me. Irish crochet is a type of lace, which has its origin in the famine years of the 19th century in Ireland. Compared to other crochet laces Irish Crochet is raised; padded with a cord to give it a three dimensional texture. It is very detailed and intricate, with Motifs being worked separately from the background lace.

I currently sell my hand-crocheted items on Etsy, which is a wonderful venue for handmade items of all kinds.
